Meditation:
All the things of this world have their natural end in the love of God, as can even be shown through reason such as the demonstration by the philosopher Aristotle. The Psalmist takes this up in praise, calling on even the natural world to praise God.
Psalm 148:3-6
Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, all you shining stars! Praise him, you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the Lord! For he commanded and they were created. And he established them for ever and ever; he fixed their bounds which cannot be passed.
Prayer:
Christ is risen from the dead,
By death trampling down on death,
And to those in the tomb,
He has granted life!
