Meditation:
Some people worry that the doctrine of divine simplicity is unpastoral. If God is so different from us, how can we find refuge in Him? However, it is actually God’s radical simplicity that allows us to seek refuge in Him. We have no worry that He will change and be different tomorrow. God simply is, and so we can always turn to Him.
Psalm 90:1-2
Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting thou art God.
Prayer:
Christ is risen from the dead,
By death trampling down on death,
And to those in the tomb,
He has granted life!
