Meditation:
Mountains are a very great sight to behold. Many ancient people thought the mountains were the home of the gods, or were gods themselves, since they are so immense. Until very recently, most mountains had never been fully climbed. The Psalmist reminds us though that, however great the mountains are, God is infinitely greater than them.
Psalm 76:4
Glorious art thou, more majestic than the everlasting mountains.
Prayer:
Christ is risen from the dead,
By death trampling down on death,
And to those in the tomb,
He has granted life!
