Meditation:
St. Paul says in his letter to the Ephesians that God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world because of His love (Eph 1:4). Even if we did not know it, God has been with us from the very moment we were conceived. He will always keep us safe and will bring us to Himself in eternity if we remain faithful to Him.
Psalm 22:9-11
Yet thou art he who took me from the womb; thou didst keep me safe upon my mother’s breasts. Upon thee was I cast from my birth, and since my mother bore me thou hast been my God. Be not far from me, for trouble is near and there is none to help.
Prayer:
Christ is risen from the dead,
By death trampling down on death,
And to those in the tomb,
He has granted life!
